Our Fleet

True North Sailing Club operates Spacesailer 18', Spacesailer 20' and C & C 27' sailboats.  Each boat offers a unique sailing experience and each can be enjoyed for sailors of all levels and abilities.

Spacesailer 18'

Originally designed and constructed in Australia, Laurie Simms built our Spacesailer 18's in Montana.  Today the Spacesailer 18' is one of the most respected boats of its size in the Pacific Northwest, whether used for racing, cruising or day-sailing.  It not only offers something for sailors of all levels but is also an excellent boat for learning to sail.

Similar in design to the Spacesailer 18', the Spacesailer 20' is slightly wider and longer with a slightly larger sail area.  The larger cabin makes it a more comfortable choice for overnighting though it is also an excellent performer in all conditions.

TNSC operates a pair of C & C 27 sailboats.  For sailing the C & C 27 offers a much larger mainsail and overall sail area yet maintains ease of handling.  Inside, the cabin contains a galley with stove, large icebox and head.  This boat is excellent for racing and family cruising.
